Hey, Ginger Bear Kitchen is back! For my first post in almost 3 months I’m bringing you something that has been on my kitchen bucket list for a while now….bagels!
Living with my parents and working in their yard in the summer-time, I will always remember battling their monster of a rhubarb plant. This thing was gigantic and by far the biggest rhubarb I’ve ever seen. Despite fighting to tame that plant, strawberry rhubarb pie is my favorite kind of pie.
Summer stopped by Bozeman for about a week, teased us and left. The past three weeks have been rainy and cold with the one or two sunny days thrown in. I’m so tired of being cold and wet. I’m ready for summer.
It’s been a while. I’m sorry. I hope chocolate mousse makes up for it.
For Homemade Happy Hour this week I bring you blended strawberry margaritas. I realize I’m posting a margarita recipe just a few days after Cinco de Mayo. The thing is, I love margaritas and I drink them year round. During a January snowstorm or a July heat wave, doesn’t matter.
